SCNiiC
Find out more about what we do
The SCNiiC Platform
The platform aims at suggesting solutions applicable to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring no atmospheric temperature increase above 1.50 C., while ensuring climate justice for all. It provides a guide (the 20/TWENTY Framework) to developing a portfolio of bankable products and services that will address the challenges in achieving climate neutrality.
What can I do?
The Sustainability Climate Neutral Impact Investment Capital or SCNiiC Platform addresses the question – “what can I as an individual and my company, do to contribute to the fight against climate change?” and in the process of offering an acceptable explanation, the concomitant issues of sustainability and urbanization are also addressed.
Our Team and Advisory Committee
SCNiiC strategy is set by an Advisory Committee, in operation since 2017. The advisers with their individual expertise introduced by their relevant web sites, are:
Dr. Bruce Garvey, representing STRATEGY FORESIGHT LTD – www.strategyforesight.co.uk
Tim Evans and Chris Vaissiere, representing JIGSAW STRUCTURES LTD – www.jigsawstructures.com
Storm le Roux , SCNiiC founder
Storm originally represented ISDC (Investment Sustainability Delivery Consultancy) - web site discontinued.
ISDC was founded in 2001 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape Province of South Africa, and focused on developing sustainability finance solutions over a twenty-year period. ISDC morphed into SCNiiC in 2016. The journey and SCNiiC history described in a book published earlier as Blackgoo to Blockchain – Sustainability Finance in Practice – A journey of discovery. (A copy can be obtained on request).
The primary task of the Advisory Committee is the development of an on-going delivery strategy, development of financial masterplans and the forwarding of Project Investment Proposals to an independent Investment Committee. Current members are:
Tim Evans
Tim has spent 35 years in the discipline of stress and structural analysis within the UK and European Aerospace and allied Mechanical fields. His expertise in engineering analysis and high technology project management has been developed through employment at both technical and senior management positions within a number of leading industrial, and consultancy companies including BRITISH AEROSPACE plc, ATD Ltd, SAC Ltd (now part of Assystem UK Ltd), and ASEA BROWN BOVERI. He has been technically responsible with respect to mechanical integrity for a range of major projects including AIRBUS airframe design, check stress & test rig activities, the RR 141 Contra-rotating Propfan, the MTU Unducted Propfan, and complete small gas turbine demonstrators for ROLLS-ROYCE. Tim has held Delegated Approval Stress Signatory status for Airbus A350, A380, A330/340 & A300/310 Family Wingbox structure.
Dr. Bruce Garvey

Much of the development work relating to his methods emanates from a PhD research programme at Imperial College, which addressed problem structuring and decision support methods pertaining to technological forecasting, creativity and innovation, futures, scenario planning and systems uncertainties. His international experience and varied sector background makes him particularly sensitive to a wide range of behavioural and cultural issues that organisations face in an increasing global and fast changing environment.
